The interaction between a laser source and a plastic material produces a durable and high-contrast effect. Typical laser processes are suitable on coloured plastic materials (logo, text lines, datamatrix and barcode) and for the ID cards (gray scale). In this last application the use of laser-sensitive additives in plastics can generate considerable advantages in terms of contrast. We can provide several laser solutions according to the plastic material that has to be processed.
