Precision laser cutting is a technique for obtaining very clean cutting of different types of material. Pulsed laser reduce the thermal effect that is normally obtained by using CW lasers, resulting in limited heat affected zone. Such laser sources allow cutting thin polymeric substrates and thin metal sheets.
